  2. dnno1 Says:

Ummmm. . . see Social Security, Medicare and the Interstate Highway System. Oh yeah, and you really don’t know that facts. As of May of this year, almost 16 million people got refunds from their health insurance companies for being overcharged, thanks to the Affordable Care Act.

$1. 76 Trillion ObamaCare Cost Doubles Down On Failure

As the lies and consequences of health care reform become known, the Congressional Budget Office reveals its true cost — another lie all unto itself.
ObamaCare was sold in part as a way to rein in health care costs, including insurance premiums, and as a big step toward reducing the deficit.

  4. pickelmotoguzzi Says:

Are you are saying is that adding a layer of Govt is a good thing ?? When has that ever been successful in the past ?? They will blow the money and our costs will skyrocket !! And then you call me a misinformed idiot?? Why the attack. . . . . . ? Dont assume that I dont know my facts just because my opinion isnt the same as yours!! See you liberals would love to force everyone to see things your way but this is still America and you cant so go fuck your gay father.

  5. LibertyInProgressNOW Says:

The costs are rising because of the LACK of reform, and the capitulating to the insurance companies that the Obama administration did. Furthermore, Cenk already addressed this and made the point that because of the lack of reform, the costs WILL rise and the Republicans will blame it on too much reform, when it’s the complete opposite. Get your facts straight and actually do some research, you misinformed idiot.

  6. MegaLaviathon Says:

these guys are sellouts. look up ron paul, he actually has reasons for not having health care

  7. pickelmotoguzzi Says:

Looks like you were wrong! The White House admits now that costs will rise. So you bash the republicans and now have to face the facts.

  8. Bill Cook Says:

health care costs set to rise 9%. Who is lying now?Next year, 63 percent of employers who responded said they’ll increase the proportion of insurance premiums paid by their employees; some 46 percent plan to raise the limit on annual out-of-pocket payments; 44 percent plan to raise deductibles for in-network services.

  9. Mplay1983 Says:

as they bash the reform bill, ANYONE notice that they don’t offer any Bill of their own. They claim they are fighting for the American people and some idiots agree with them. if they are, what have they offered???? What substantive Bill have they offered for the Economy, Healthcare, Education, or Financial Regulation???? Nothing. They are sitting on their asses and being paid from us and Lobbyist.

  10. lilbitparanoid Says:

Rasmussen Reports-53% opposed 20% strongly in favor 40% strongly opposed. All the rotting corpes are the people who can’t get health care right now. Like you say, tens of thousands of Americans that are dying because of no health care. I’m done arguing, OK? You are for it, I’m against it. I think we’ve each made our case. Don’t worry, you’re going to get what you want, it will pass.

  11. lilbitparanoid Says:

Just got back from the grocery store and found your reply. You’re right, we’ve got people dying in the streets all over the town that I live in. Just to get in the grocery store you have to hold your breath because of all of the rotting corpses. I actually had to drag a couple of bodies out of the way to get to the frozen burritos. I’m sure that our government will break it’s record of miserables failure with this health care plan. So what if 54% of the population is “strongly opposed”?

  12. lilbitparanoid Says:

There are still going to be people w/out coverage is this passes. The govt has a miserable track record of waste, the private sector doesn’t. It’s not wrong for insurance companies to make a profit. If it is, then it is also wrong for carpenters to make a profit; what about all the homeless people in the world? Shouldn’t they get free houses? Then there is the issue of the govt having control over which/how many procedures patients get. “Govt is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. “

  13. lilbitparanoid Says:

One more thing Young Turks. I just read an article from Reuters that says health care reform would end practices by insurance companies like refusing to cover people with preexisting conditions, cancer for example. This would be the equivalent to forcing insurance companies to write a fire insurance policy, AFTER the fire has started. Just how exactly do you propose to do this without making insurance premiums go up for Everyone? YT You are either morons, or just welfare recipient wannabes.

  14. lilbitparanoid Says:

Can no one just judge people by their character anymore? It’s not wrong, nevermind all the political correct BS that we’ve all been subjected to. Obama is an asshole, just listen to him. He’s the most arrogant jerk that we’ve every had for a president and he doesn’t give a crap about the American people, not even the liberals. He’ll cut their throat while they’re kissing his butt. Disgusting. I sure am glad that unemployment didn’t get above 8% I hope health care reform goes that well too

  15. lilbitparanoid Says:

Let’s make a deal Young Turks: If my taxes/ health care costs go up, I’ll bitch slap you on tv. If they don’t I’ll let you bitch slap me on tv. Can you name on govt run program that is more efficient then the private sector. WTF is wrong with liberals? Can’t you see that communism is taking America by force. When the riots start, I’m going to be looking for cars with Obama stickers. The bad thing is, most people that voted for him already scraped them off.

  16. Lanceshizzy Says:

Last comment. This is coming from a human to another human don’t get the swine flu vaccine it’s dangerous. 80% of European are refusing to take it.

  17. Lanceshizzy Says:

They say this will control spending but we all know the gov has a history of going above and beyond. Once the program is put in it will be very difficult to remove it lets make a good decision.

  18. Lanceshizzy Says:

FACT:With a public option that doesn’t reject anyone people will wait till they get sick to get coverage.
FACT:More people want health care, so the prices will rise(supply and demand). Taxes will rise. Deficit will Rise. Don’t expect to get an operation before a doctor, gov official, or anybody “important. “

  19. frankyd2212 Says:

well said thebigboone. but beancube2008, what you said is retarded. if we make it a single payer system it makes everything political. and it puts government officials in charge of our healthcare decisions instead of our doctors.

  20. thebigboone Says:

Obama does not need to reform healthcare. The 13 not-for-profit hospitals that he and his wife are on the board of charge 3 and 1/2 times more to uninsured people for the same care. The 13 hospitals togather made over 100 million in profits lat year, i wonder why Mis. Obama’s salary has increased by $200,000 between her position at the hospitals and tree house and bay valley foods.

  21. beancube2008 Says:

Looks like we are all wrong, we should insist the single payer program in stead of the public options. We don’t suppose health is an economy issue. Health concern every and each of our lives and it is definitely a political issue just as most conservative considered it. A single payer nonprofit program and no Democrat dare to block it in senate. We’ll push conservative go on streets protest the useless Senate if the single payer bill is not considered again.

  22. frankyd2212 Says:

themia- are you serious? that’s probably the dumbst thing I’ve heard. who are the people responsible for the bankershaving our money? that’s right the government. if the government wouldn’t have given them our money, they wouldn’t have it. government are the leaches. they work for us yet they can vote to raise their own pay check even though the majority disapprove of the job they’re doing. the govenment are the ones causing our problems not the solutions to them.

  23. dangerouslytalented Says:

The government pays for healthcare in most western nations.

The cost of healthcare (private, insurance company and government expenditure combined) in those countries is lower.

The quality of healthcare in most Western Countries exceeds that in the US, by most measurements, such as life expectancy, infant mortality, etc.

Therefore, the Government CAN fix this. Every other westernised country has done this very thing.

  24. grenadier33 Says:

In the year 20,019, families will pay $4,000 more for health care! For proof watch the video at 3:15.

  25. frankyd2212 Says:

who’ listen to hazmat347. . . . this guy obviously doesn’t know shit from moonshine. how does a public option creat competition when the way they’re paying for it is by taxing private insurence benifits with a 40% tax. ? you don’t everybody is going to have to go on the OPTION. government doesn’t create competition, it destroys it dumb ass
