lol 3 years later and Ben Bernacke is doing what Obama should have done. . . pumping Billions into our economy. . . . Obama should have dumped money into our economy and put pressure on the fed to detract. . . inflation would have soared by default i know. . . but it also did under Regan and Clinton and those were both prosperous times. . . . . . although i must admit Raegan DESTROYED the middleclasses wealth

  2. finleyspot Says:

lol they havent even read their bible. . and thats their favorit book to cherry pick from. . . . . what makes u think they are going to read a 2k page bill? they would rather just take hannitys word for it. . . . . lol

  3. finleyspot Says:

yes u are correct they are state entities who are FUNDED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. . . . . each one of those services are subsidized through the FED. . not entirely i understand. . . but the federal government subsidizes EVERY service he named and wiithout that federally funding they would be illfunded and would skrink to non existence. . . . OWNED

  4. finleyspot Says:

and u take those programs away and we will end up paying more. . what dont u understand? these programs are basically harm reduction/cost benefit analysis. those seniors show up att the hospital and recieve uncompensated care. . the eldery make up the MAJORITY of the patient pool and 90% of them CANT afford private healthcare. . . . so we would end up paying for them ANYWAY and accually it would cost us MUCH more. and we are 15T in the hole bcos of BUSH and deregulation,2 wars, and occuyping 70 countries

  5. finleyspot Says:

well put. . and most conservatives fail to realize is the single LARGEST factor in high healthcare cost is the FACT that those 20% of uninsured are recieving uncompensated care. which we then ALL have to pay for. combined that with all the UNDER insured people that recieve uncompensated care and its astonishing. i kno there are a slew of reasons costs are high but the largest one being uncompensated care. so those who are “choosing” to not have insurance are FORCING us ALL to pay for their healthcare

  6. finleyspot Says:

the problem is when u dumasses get sick u will go to the hospital and DEMAND uncompsensated care. . which will drive up the cost for ALL OF US. . so we end up paying for you regarudless!!!! and MOST seniors can NOT afford healthcare out of poket. . so if they didnt have medicare they would ALSO show up the the ER demanding uncompensated care. . which we will ALL pay for anyway. . . u are the very definition of low information.

  7. finleyspot Says:

lol. . . . there isnt a SINGLE system even close to medicare that is being proposed. . . u are the definition of low information voter. . . . . . . . none of the public options are ANYTHING like medicare. . they are PRIVATE insurance providers. . NO GOVERNMENT INVOLVEMENT at all. . . the government only outlines what they must provide in their plans but it is PRIVATE. there will be NO SYSTEM to go broke. . . its PRIVATE

  8. Mari0Bros4 Says:

GEORGE W. BUSH 3RD TERM GOD DAMN. LYNCH THE NAGGERS.

  9. Tony Burke Says:

Why are so many Americans afraid of FREE HEALTH CARE ? How else do they expect to pay for it when their health fails, are they so rich that they’ll just pay for it out of their own pockets ? I guess there’s insurance but it’s still beyond the reach of the poor. I’ve just had a total knee arthroplasty to my right knee and will have the left done soon. The total cost for this in Australia is ZERO and the quality of this health care is the best on the planet ! I just don’t get it.

  10. kingda117 Says:

Infectious diseases are nature’s way of ensuring that human societies provide universal healthcare where they can afford it.

  11. trueleroix Says:

@hsd628 Haha, the thing about your comment is that it’ still here. Stew in it now. I TOLD YOU SO!

  12. SeaWolfe59 Says:

    AGREE!

  13. SeaWolfe59 Says:

Im sure that man paid medicare taxes for years. My take is that hes simply getting back what he paid in. And I think his point about healthcare is that we dont need more systems like medicare that will simply go broke.

  14. investorspolldotcom Says:

@hsd628 No, that Spending wasn’t $1. 5 Trillion in deficit spending each year, and unlike what you heard, many of the Conservatives were protesting Bush, but MSLSD doesn’t show that.

  15. investorspolldotcom Says:

This commentator is a moron. That old man is on Medicare b/c he was forced to pay into that system all those years via Social Security / Medicare taxes and is getting benefits from his own money that the Government withheld b/c he surpassed the age of 65. He’s on Medicare b/c of his age, dumb ass. If you Libtards don’t want Conservatives to benefit from Medicare, don’t make us pay into your stupid system, otherwise, shut the fuck up.

  16. xadam2dudex Says:

these people watch FOX fake news and listen to all those corporate lobby tools that use them to push their agenda. . this man is stupid. . it’s a hell of a lot more than 15% and most of the people that have health insurance don’t have anywhere near the coverage they need . . even with health insurance most people can’t afford to use their insurance. . . what is so unreal is this old idiot is on medicare a government run medical system

  17. AliceInChains243 Says:

What’s funny about this guy (the one portrayed in the video, BESIDES the fact that he is protesting WHILE ON Medicare), is the fact that he just quickly states: “80% of Americans are on healthcare, and the rest don’t have it or can’t afford it. . . ” What I find funny, is that this guy, as well as MANY other people, not only conservatives, just state the same thing, glorifying the majority. If you aren’t covered by health insurance and something happens. . . you are downright financially murdered.

  18. scorpionkings Says:

Just goes to show how idiotic republicans really are!

  19. Ermengarde11 Says:

Thing is, he didn’t even have to “go get it really, it’s as close to automatic as it gets. ” There’s so little paperwork involved a caveman can do it. Oh, maybe he IS a caveman LOL.
Poor sorry bloke, early signs of dementia maybe.
Good thing he’s got that “socialized” medicine just in case!!

  20. Ermengarde11 Says:

Want to Piss Off a Conservative? Speak in words of more than one syllable . . . .

  21. Ermengarde11 Says:

Are these people not aware that they PAID for their Medicare through payroll deductions? Just like they PAID for their Social Security? The simple solution to health care reform is to do EXACTLY the same thing with health insurance for everybody. The difference being, they will get health care IMMEDIATELY instead of when they retire.

    No-brainer.

  22. Ermengarde11 Says:

“Tax Patriots, Tax Reform” . . . These people think that everything in life is about the taxes involved. If you offered them a plate of food &they hadn’t eaten for a week, &you told them that the
taxpayers paid for that plate of food so they wouldn’t starve, they’d call it big government instead of basic common sense. They’d starve themselves to death (&everyone else too, allowing others no choice) just because they think taxes are inherently evil. It’s what is DONE with taxes matters.

  23. RiseRobotRise1 Says:

I’m talking about federal government employees, not state. You implied that there is no government health care for non-retired federal employees.

  24. Textynn Says:

Yes. What’s your point. Some government employees are state employees by the way. Government employees do go on Medicare when they retire also.
